Oklahoma
City: Energized and Revitalized
In
the past ten years, Oklahoma City has spent
approximately $370 million dollars in building an Energized and
Revitalized Capitol. Among the many exciting additions to our City is a
state of the art 12,000-seat ballpark, 20,000-seat Sports Arena, a new
downtown library, a new trolley system-Oklahoma Spirit, and the
Bricktown Canal Entertainment District. In addition, extensive
renovations have been made to the Cox Business Services Convention
Center–the premier convention facility in the region. Other renovation
sites include the Civic Center Music Hall, the North Canadian River
recreation area, and State Fair Park - home to world and national
championship shows each year.
Oklahoma
City recreational areas are in abundance. Visitors and residents enjoy
approximately 80 miles of trails, 147 parks and 12 metro area lakes. Not
to mention the 22 public golf courses and 11 private golf and country
clubs. The Capitol is also home to highly acclaimed golf courses such
as: the Gaillardia (2001 & 2002 Senior PGA Championship site),
Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club, Quail Creek Golf and Country Club
(1987 PGA Seniors Tournament), and Oak Tree Golf and Country Club (1988
PGA Championship site).
Oklahoma
City is Business Friendly
Now
more than ever, with reduced tax rates and lower overall tax structure,
businesses are taking a closer look at Oklahoma's lower cost structure.
In fact, Economy.com listed Oklahoma as the
third-lowest-cost-of-doing-business state.

Oklahoma City. This alone brings in millions of dollars to the city’s
economy. Excellent accommodations, affordable rates and a friendly
atmosphere make Oklahoma City an ideal location for any size meeting and
one of the most accommodating convention destinations in the Southwest.
